Privacy Policy

Overview

This application is a private integration between Enable Banking and Actual Budget. It is operated by a single individual (the “owner”) for personal, non-commercial use only. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

Data accessed

With the owner's explicit consent, given through Enable Banking and the owner's bank, the application accesses only the owner's own bank accounts. This may include:

• account details such as account name, number (IBAN) and currency;
• account balances;
• transaction history, including dates, amounts, descriptions and counterparty names.

The application does not initiate payments and does not access the accounts of any other person.

How data is used and stored

Retrieved data is synchronized into a private, self-hosted Actual Budget instance controlled by the owner. It is used solely to categorize transactions, track balances and manage the owner's personal finances.

Data is kept for as long as the owner chooses to keep it in their budget, and can be deleted by the owner at any time.

What we do not do

• Data is never sold, rented or traded.
• Data is never used for advertising, marketing or profiling.
• Data is not shared with third parties, except as described below.

Third-party services

Bank data is retrieved through Enable Banking, a licensed account information service provider, which processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable regulation (including PSD2 and GDPR). The owner's bank also processes data in accordance with its own terms.

Consent and revocation

Access to bank data is based on a time-limited consent granted by the owner. The owner can revoke this consent at any time through Enable Banking or their bank, after which no further data is retrieved.

This website

This website only provides legal information. It does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, has no forms or user accounts, and does not collect personal data. The hosting server may keep standard technical access logs for security and operational purposes.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published at this address, with the date of the last update shown above.
